5 Fall 2018 Wedding Trends Skip to main content

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year! From the cooler weather and pumpkin everything, these ideas will make your wedding the highlight of the season! If you’re planning on tying the knot this autumn, you’ll want to keep these wedding trends in mind:

1. Florals

Expect to see lots of greenery this season! The most popular being eucalyptus, succulents, ivy, and even herbs like bay leaves, lavender, or rosemary! For pops of color, you may notice dahlias and berry sprays mixed in.

2. Attire

Fall starts the slow transition to cooler weather. Adding a delicate lace sleeve to your look is an elegant way to keep warm with dropping temperatures! Another trend to help you stay warm: a leather moto jacket. 3. Decor

Geometry isn’t new to wedding decor, but Fall 2018 is going to see a lot more of geometric shapes! You’ll also see more copper and metallic colors mixed with jewel tones to give a luxurious, warm energy.

4. Food + Drink

Embrace the season with fall’s signature cocktails. One of our personal favorites is the moscow mule, but options abound from ciders to bourbon. Invite your guests outside by setting up a s’mores fire pit, if your venue allows it, or arranging for a post-dinner food truck to serve your guests.

5. Cakes

Naked cakes have been trending for awhile now, and they are here to stay! You might see some fun variations on this style, like drip cakes or translucent cakes. Some brides may even forego the cake altogether and prepare a dessert table instead!
