A Love Story Years in the Making

We have to start with Karley and Landon’s incredible love story. Both 26 and Texas natives, their connection actually goes back to elementary school, when Landon’s mother was Karley’s third-grade teacher!

The two officially connected during a senior trip to Cancun in 2018. Fast forward to August 2024, and Landon planned a romantic proposal at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth. And the rest is history! They had officially set the stage for their dream wedding.

But Landon wasn’t the only one supporting Karley on her big day. If you watched the recent hit Netflix docuseries America’s Sweethearts, you know that a massive part of being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader is the unbreakable bond and lifelong sisterhood these women share through immense pressure and triumph.

Old Hollywood Meets European Elegance at Chateau Nouvelle

Nestled in Houston, Chateau Nouvelle provided the ultimate backdrop for the couple’s Old Hollywood-meets-Victorian aesthetic. The venue is renowned for its grand, French-inspired architecture, sprawling manicured grounds, and opulent details that make it feel like a royal European estate.

Inside the reception space, the elegance was only amplified! Karley and Landon went for a timeless ivory and black color palette, which you could see reflected in every breathtaking detail – including the sweeping banquet tables featuring ivory tablecloths, tall, sleek golden candelabras, and cascading white centerpieces overflowing with ivory blooms.

As the night went on, our cameras captured the moody, romantic details of the ballroom while a live jazz trio entertained the 210 guests (including 45 current and former DCC cheerleaders), setting an upscale, energetic tone for the evening.

Couture and Costume Changes

Karley’s vision for the day was one of timeless sophistication, requesting that guests join them in Black Tie Formal attire. Naturally, the bride set the standard from the very first frame!

For her main ceremony look, Karley was an absolute vision in a breathtaking, classic gown featuring a dramatic, trailing train. When her bridesmaids saw her fully dressed for the first time, their faces registered pure shock and delight – a candid, emotional moment we were thrilled to capture on film!

But a true performer knows the power of a wardrobe change, and Karley incorporated not just one, but THREE distinct looks into her day! Following a private post-ceremony meal, she slipped into a chic second dress, surprising Landon just moments before their grand ballroom entrance.

For the peak of the reception, she debuted her third look: a custom, white cheerleader-style Vegas showgirl outfit adorned with stunning sequins and feathers. Her fellow Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders took the floor in matching fancy black sequin and feather uniforms that caught every flash of the venue’s lights as they executed a perfectly choreographed DCC Thunderstruck dance routine.

Around 9:00 PM, six of Karley’s bridesmaids surprised the crowd with a high-glamour, perfectly synchronized routine to a custom cut of “Sparkling Diamonds.” Just fifteen minutes later, Karley and her dad broke into a spontaneous, high-energy flash mob to “Do You Love Me,” pulling delighted guests right onto the floor to join the choreography.

But the absolute pinnacle of the evening arrived just before 9:30 PM. The band played a quick cut of “American Woman” before launching right into AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck.”

Karley gave her guests the ultimate front-row seat when she and her DCC sisters (now in their full sequin and feather uniforms) delivered a flawless, iconic routine that brought the house down!
